MI Windows and
Doors
MI Windows and Doors is one
of the nation's largest suppliers of vinyl, aluminum and
cellular windows and doors. With plants across the country,
MI offers a broad spectrum of windows and patio doors-backed
by exemplary customer service. The company that now
manufactures on a nationwide level began with just two
people making screens in a Florida airplane hangar back in
the forties. These hardworking, visionary founders never
forgot the value of good people as the company continued to
expand. Steadily increasing the scope of its business while
adding plants from coast to coast, MI began manufacturing
storm windows in 1972, storm doors in 1974, then introduced
vinyl replacement windows in 1981. In the 1990s, MI brought
its hard work and expertise to the new construction market,
purchasing Capitol in the early part of the decade and
BetterBilt in 1999. Having kept the focus on people as its
greatest asset, MI continues to manufacture quality windows
and doors under our respected brands.

Milgard Windows
In 1968, Milgard Manufacturing
started producing sliding glass doors. Two years later, aluminum
frames were redesigned to fit both single-pane and insulating glass.
The Milgards developed a type of aluminum frame that was suitable
for cold weather areas where only wood frames had been effective.
The year 1989 marked the introduction of the first Milgard windows
with vinyl frames. WoodClad, a dramatic new line of fiberglass
windows, was introduced in 1990.
Growth is the norm at Milgard. In addition to the Tacoma operation,
the company now has window manufacturing plants in Marysville,
Washington; Portland, Oregon; Las Vegas, Nevada; Sacramento,
Hollister, Simi Valley, Temecula and Dixon, California; Denver,
Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Phoenix, Arizona; Chicago, Illinois;
and our latest plant in Fredericksburg, Virginia. |

Jeld Wen Windows
JELD-WEN is a comprehensive source
for reliable wood, vinyl and aluminum windows and patio doors; wood
and molded wood fiber interior doors; wood, steel, fiberglass
exterior doors; and garage doors. Since 2003 the company has
marketed its 27 former window and door brands under the JELD-WEN
brand, and its reputation for reliable products and customer service
is spreading through marketing, advertising and satisfied customers.
In 1960, JELD-WEN began as just a small Oregon millwork plant with
15 employees. During those early days, we established a culture
